Mandate:
To review and incorporate HIV/AIDS concerns within the legal sector in order to manage HIV/AIDS in the workplace, combat and prevent further spread of the HIV and to ensure non-discrimination and fairness within the sector; and to review existing laws, policies and practices with a view to address the HIV/AIDS concerns in these areas. The Ministry will be spearheading the exercise of compiling an HIV/AIDS Bill as soon as the National AIDS Policy is approved by Cabinet
