Department of fisheries
While recognizing the uniqueness of fishing communities in this sector, the Department of Fisheries embarked on exercise of conducting an impact assessment study whose results fed into the development of the Fisheries HIV/AIDS Strategic plan as part of the wider sector Strategic Plan. An implementation Plan has also been developed and resource mobilization efforts are underway to assure sustainability of initiated interventions.
